 Ryan Gundersen is an actuarial analyst with Goldstein & Associates. Mr. Gundersen has been with Goldstein & Associates for the past 3 years and has been involved in the various aspects of performing actuarial valuations for public pension funds.
Mr. Gundersen’s primary responsibilities include performing actuarial valuations for police and fire funds, performing experience studies to determine the appropriateness of assumptions used in the actuarial valuations, and preparation of the actuarial reports.
Mr. Gundersen also has extensive experience in determining actuarial present values of accrued pensions for defined benefit plans and determining marital/non-marital portions of account balances for defined contribution plans in matrimonial law cases. He also has experience with preparing Qualified Domestic Relations Orders (QDROs) and Qualified Illinois Domestic Relations Orders (QILDROs).
Mr. Gundersen is currently in the process of taking the exams administered by the Society of Actuaries in order to become a credentialed actuary. He graduated from Roosevelt University with a B.A. in Actuarial Science.
